Jackson's first BIG event!

On Sunday, 8/9 - our good friends Nick & Serah got engaged! We were so excited to be a part of this special day that I made special cupcakes just for this great couple. Serah and Nick have been together for about 2 years and if you know them, you know that they are MEANT for each other! They are both warm-hearted, caring, kind and are a blast to hang out with on any occasion! Shane and I couldn't be more excited that these two found one another and have decided to spend their lives together.

Nick's parents were in town from California and asked my in-laws to host a BBQ at their house in true Makanani style. Nick thought it would be the perfect time & place for him to drop down on one knee and ask his dream girl to marry him. All the usual suspects were there, the Makanani's, The Manahan's, The Neighbors and special guests: Nick's parents & Serah's mom.

Jackson was well behaved and even fell asleep in Grandma's arms at the end of the evening.
