More from our family photo shoot
Justine just recently dropped off our disc from our family/Malia’s 3 month/Jackson’s 2 year photo session. As I expected, there are even more photos that I want to blow up and put all over my house. I’m not going to lie, I really do believe that we have the cutest kids alive….but I’m sure I’m not alone, every parent thinks the same exact thing!

4 Months
….and wearing 9 month clothing!!!! I am scrambling through what I have in her clothing bins for summer clothes as I didn’t plan accordingly. I figured at 9 months she’d be in WINTER clothes….guess my baby had other plans. Her pediatrician said by next month – she’ll be wearing 12 month clothes – awesome. At least she is healthy right? Right.
I can’t say enough what a wonderful, sweet, adorable baby Malia is. Every morning I wake up to her smiling face and it makes all my worries and stresses just disappear.
The latest:
Weight: 16lbs, 10oz (95th percentile)
Height: 26.5 inches (95th percentile)
Head Circum.: 16 inches (50th percentile)
*Sleeping through the night 7:30pm – 4:30am (eats) and sleeps until 7:30am.
*Still EBF’ing at 5 ounces every 3-4 hours.
*Smiling and laughing and smiling and laughing.
*Sitting in the Bumbo to watch Big Brother eat breakfast everyday.
*Tried out the exersaucer – more on that later :)
*Still being swaddled at night and for naps.
*Speaking of naps – she takes them in her crib. First time we tried it, she slept 3 GLORIOUS hours. It’s stuck every since.
*She thinks her brother is the coolest guy in the world – besides Daddy, of course.
*The girl LOVES to nurse. And I mean LOVES it. When I’m gone all day from her and she has her bottles, as soon as I walk in the door, she MUST nurse immediately…even if she only ate a hour prior. I give in, I’ll admit, I love it too.
*Found her hands and her feet – it’s only a matter of time before she is sucking on those cute toes!
*She can now grab/pull things that are in front of her.

I’m still alive…..
….I have been trapped in a place called: Wedding World. Between working part-time, being a mom full-time and having a wedding with my new business venture, I have been going NONSTOP! My house is a MESS, there is no food in the fridge, laundry has piled up and I think I last kissed my husband on Tuesday.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my new business, but the months of July and August have been crazy busy for me. I am still starting up this wedding coordinating business of mine, so I am working extra hard to earn my clients’ trust as well as make a name for myself in the wedding world here in Seattle. I created a facebook page: HERE. So if you want to keep up or send brides somewhere –this is the place.
My last wedding for the season is August 26th – after that wedding, I am getting a pedicure. Being on my feet for 12-13 hours straight every Saturday is KILLING me feet. I think I’ve earned it :)

Jackson’s Birthday Celebration
Since last year was a BIG deal for Jackson’s First Birthday – we decided to keep it super low-key this year. A backyard (or deck) BBQ at Grandma & Grandpa’s house with just family. We included some of Jackson’s favorite things: Buzz, Woody and Bubbles. Plus we got Jackson something he’s been eyeing for quite some time - a TRAIN TABLE!!!!
We will never NOT celebrate one of our kids’ birthdays, but we are already saving up for Malia’s First Birthday bash……and I’m sure Jackson won’t even notice. I think he was happy enough just to get the cake made by Megan at Sophisticookie.
And yes, he wore his T-shirt that I ordered off of ETSY all weekend long :)
