Pumpkin Patch, Round 2

When Jackson was just a wee lad, we started a tradition with the Makanani Family – the Pumpkin Patch. I had heard of Craven Farms, and thought it would be a fun family tradition to go every year to get our pumpkins.  Over the last 3 years, Shane and I have gone with however many kids we have, Shane’s parents, his sisters and their respective families and the Boyce crew.  Some others have joined and each year it gets more and more fun – especially with the babies.  Last year, Jackson could NOT get enough of the rotted out pumpkins, the ones that were just oozing out from the insides. This year, it was the puddles. This kid jumped in every.single.puddle on the farm. By the time we left, he was soaked from the waist down – but he had a smile on his face the entire time. Worth it.
