I know, you are probably thinking, yeah right, there is NO WAY Jackson is saying his first word a few days shy of 7 months. And of course, we don’t think so either…but he’s pretty darn close. Jackson definitely knows who his “dada” is – and starting Monday he was beginning to say “dada” and by Wednesday, when I pointed to Shane, he would say “dada”. Now, he also says “dada” when he sees Kona, strangers and even a dirty diaper…..but we are onto something. And even cuter was getting it on video.
Jackson has always been a talker, but up until this point, nothing ever made sense – until his “dada” mumblings…..both Shane and I stop dead in our tracks to catch him spouting it out – we just can’t get enough of it.
