As of today, Malia is officially 1-week old. This week has flown by – and I know it will be like this for the first year. I am trying to savor EVERY moment with her! They say that every baby is different, and boy, is that true. Malia is SO different from how Jackson was. Here is what we have learned about her in the last 7-days:
*This girl LOVES to sleep – seriously, like ALL.DAY.LONG!
*She came out of the womb teaching me how to nurse – she is a rock star eater!
*Hates being bathed.
*Hates being naked.
*Sleeps in 3 hours stretches, followed by a good eating – a burp or two and back to sleep for 3 hours.
*She gets the hiccups about 3 times a day – and it bugs the heck outta her.
*Doesn’t care to be swaddled.
*Sleeps best when she is in her mama’s arms or laying next to me in bed. The co-sleeper has been used twice.
