Today, Friday, April 15, 2011 Shane, Myself and big brother Jackson welcomed to our family Malia Christine Makanani. She was born at 4:43am weighing in at 6lbs, 11oz and measuring 19 3/4 inches long.
Labor was a total of 3 hours and 45 minutes and done all natural. Full birth story to come, but I could not WAIT to make the introduction. We were lucky enough to have our family photographer (Justine Shelton) in the room along with the best coaches ever; Shane and my mom.
Miss Malia is perfectly healthy and her and myself are recovering well. Although she was 3 weeks early - it is no surprise how in love we are with her.
